Cantonese Opera Classics “White Snake”and “Zhang Jiuling”Shine in Shanghai

Art and Culture | From May 20 to 23, Guangdong Cantonese Opera Institute presented two celebrated productions, Zhang Jiuling and White Snake, at Shanghai Tianchan Yifu Theatre. Led by renowned Cantonese opera artist Zeng Xiaomin and first-class actor Wen Ruqing, the performances brought together veteran artists and emerging young talents. Across four performances, the productions highlighted the vitality and artistic excellence of Guangdong Cantonese Opera Institute while further deepening the long-standing cultural ties between Shanghai and Guangdong. #artandculture

5月20日至23日，广东粤剧院携《张九龄》《白蛇传·情》两大精品剧目登陆上海天蟾逸夫舞台，由著名粤剧表演艺术家曾小敏、一级演员文汝清领衔，集结剧院中坚骨干与青年新秀阵容，四场连演、双剧齐辉。此次演出既展现了广东粤剧院综合实力，又再续沪粤梨园情谊。
