City Life | Winning or losing, every match is an experience that makes them only grow stronger.The Meizhou cheerleading squad pumped up their team at the Guangdong Basketball League (Yue BA) by singing the Hakka folk song "Xige, Jiayou!", meaning “Keep going, young man!” Known for blending Hakka cultural elements, the team rose to fame during the 2026 Guangdong Sports City League. Its members are mainly young performers from the Meizhou Hakka Opera & Drama Troupe and students from the Meizhou Art School. Their signature look features bamboo hats, braids, plum blossom decorations (a nod to the city flower), and pink-and-white sportswear, serving as a bright signature of Meizhou's urban image. #citylife
