Guangzhou Dragon Boat Championship Kick Off the 2026 Racing Season

City Life | The rhythmic beat of dragon boat drums echoed across Guangzhou as the 2026 Guangzhou Dragon Boat Championship officially kicked off the city’s dragon boat season. Held from May 23 to 24 at Chengma Luhu Water Sports Center, the event brought together 54 dragon boat teams and more than 1,400 athletes, competing in intense head-to-head races across the waters of Luhu Lake.
