The China Media Group (CMG) on Saturday signed memorandums with the Center of Greek and Chinese Ancient Civilizations and the International Olympic Academy (IOA) respectively in Athens, the capital of Greece, to further enhance cooperation and promote Olympic culture. In the deal with the Center of Greek and Chinese Ancient Civilizations, the two sides agreed to deepen cooperation on information sharing, co-production on programs and innovative technologies so as to help scholars from China and Greece advance their academic studies on languages, history and cultures.

The two sides also vowed to better tell the story of the joint building of the Belt and Road Initiative, showcase the historic responsibilities as countries with ancient civilizations, and add force of civilization in building a global community of shared future.

Established on Feb 20, 2023, the Center of Greek and Chinese Ancient Civilizations acts as a concrete example of the benefits of respectful and beneficial civilization exchanges.

The memorandum of cooperation signed between the CMG and the IOA seeks to strengthen cooperation in broadcast technology innovation, electronic sports event development and youth training.

Both parties agreed to promote the Olympic spirit and the Chinese sportsmanship so as to contribute to a shared future for mankind.

Founded in 1961, the IOA is an academic research and educational institution for Olympics led by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
