Qingdao sent a delegation to attend the 2023 UAE China Tyre and Auto Parts Expo held in the Expo Centre Sharjah between May 29 and May 31. The large-sized Qingdao delegation comprised 48 enterprises which sent a total of 87 international trade representatives and constituted the largest overseas exhibition campaign since the beginning of this year.

The UAE China Tyre and Auto Parts Expo is a large professional exhibition held independently by Shandong-based enterprises for their tyre and auto parts warehouses in the UAE, co-sponsored by Shandong Port Overseas Development Group Supply Chain (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. and Hualun Inter Tech (Dubai) Co., Ltd. and undertaken by SCO Everest (Qingdao) International Exhibition Co., Ltd. The 2023 UAE China Tyre and Auto Parts Expo linked up tyre and auto parts industries in Middle East and China and appealed very much to main auto parts imports and dealers in many countries of the region.

Thanks to the energetic support from Qingdao municipal departments, Qingdao-based enterprises have become increasingly enthusiastic to go overseas since the beginning of this year. Ranging from a wait-and-see attitude at the beginning of this year, a trail among a limited number of enterprises to the delegation composed of 48 enterprises to the UAE to tap into international markets, an increasing number of Qingdao-based enterprises go abroad to attend exhibition events.  (Liu Lanxing)
