The 2025-2026 Amazing China — The Most Attractive Chinese Cities in the Eyes of Foreign Talent was recently released in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Qingdao, Nanjing, Chengdu, and Xiamen made up the top 10.

This marks the 15th time Qingdao has been recognized as one of China's most attractive cities for foreign talent, and the first time it has entered the top five in the "livable cities" category.

The Amazing China survey has been conducted every year since 2010. This year's survey covered 81 cities with high concentrations of foreign talent, collecting 6,258 valid questionnaires. The index evaluates each city's job satisfaction rate, convenience of life, and social inclusiveness.

In recent years, Qingdao has embraced a spirit of openness and cooperation to attract foreign professionals. The city has been approved as a pilot for comprehensive reform in foreign talent services in Shandong province, rolling out 19 measures covering talent introduction, public services, and social integration.

Moving forward, the city will work with relevant departments to further improve services for foreign experts and strive to become a hub for international talent.
