Qingdao scored 90.4 points and ranked 2nd in China, a new record high, according to the 2022 report of consumer satisfaction assessment for 100 Chinese cities released by the China Consumers Association.

The top ten cities in the assessment are respectively Suzhou, Qingdao, Hangzhou, Yantai, Nanjing, Foshan, Wuxi, Xiamen, Beijing and Yichang.

Since the beginning of last year, Qingdao has launched the new “quality Qingdao” building campaign, cultivated 26 “premium products of Shandong” brands and added 89 enterprises that commit to fostering Shandong provincial high-end brands. Furthermore, Qingdao has carried forward the campaign of “consumption in Qingdao with comfort” citywide. As many as 1.21 million entities have participated in the campaign and 24,500 demonstration organizations for consumption with comfort of all kinds and levels have been designated.  (Wu Shuai)
