The Zhonggong Jihua Green and Intelligent Mining Equipment Industry Park, situated in Qingdao Dongjiakou Economic Zone, recently saw the completion of all construction works, scheduled to be put into production by the end of 2024. The project is funded by Zhonggong Jihua Heavy Machinery (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.,, which is known as the world’s first company to develop, manufacture and market unpiloted new energy mining trucks with a carrying capacity of more than 160 tons. The company specializes in developing and producing unmanned new energy mining trucks with different kinds of carrying capacity such as 120 tons, 160 tons, 220 tons, 300 tons and 400 tons.

The project, which boasts industry 4.0 smart plants covering an area of more than 100,000 square meters, is expected to make over 3,000 green and intelligent mining trucks annually when the designed capacity is fulfilled. It is reported that Zhonggong Jihua Heavy Machinery (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. has reached the intention of cooperation with Russian Zemtech Company and Holingola Dongfang Earth and Rock Engineering Co., Ltd. , and has the plan to locate manufacturing bases in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Russia and America, etc. by headquartering itself in Qingdao.
