On July 29, marine tourism in Qingdao welcomed the millionth tourist for this year, marking that the number of tourist for marine tourism in Qingdao has surpassed the mark of one million, 147 days ahead of the date in 2023.
The marine tourism sector in Qingdao has broken down barriers facing conventional tourism markets, pursued joint venture and centralized management from the five dimensions, namely, wharfs, itineraries, ticket sales, account settling and operations, and entered a new stage of coordinated operation. Qingdao Tourism Group has employed market-oriented means to accelerate coordinated operations and integration, allocate ships, improve marine tourism itineraries and enhance ship operation efficiency, thus optimizing the allocation and high-efficient utilization of resources, making marine tourism run in a more orderly manner and pushing up the number of voyages and tourists.
There are an increasing number of marine amusement projects available in Qingdao. Tourist products such as touring around Fushan Bay, the three charming bays (Jiaozhou Bay, Lingshan Bay and Aoshan Bay) and the Undersea World enable tourists to get a thorough idea of the splendid sights of Qingdao’s coastline. Noteworthy are “Dedicated Route for Chaoqi Music Concert” and “Riding a Yacht”, which are well sought after on the internet and appeal to a number of young tourists. Furthermore, Qingdao Tourism Group has fully launched the consumer protection mechanism of compensation in advance in an effort to unleash the vitality of marine tourism and facilitate the high-quality development of cultural tourism in Qingdao.
