Such elements as beer, summer days and little doses of happiness mingle together in Qingdao, a city where you can drink the most tasty beer, spend the most unforgettable summer days and encounter hospitable natives. It is particularly the case that in the annual Qingdao International Beer Festival, people come to Qingdao from everywhere to toast each other merrily and enjoy themselves to their heart’s content.

On July 19, the 34th Qingdao International Beer Festival was held as scheduled. The 24-day-long city’s festival is now in full swing. The same passion and happiness can be experienced in the two venues which are separately located east and west of the city and where goers prefer to get a little tipsy.

In the Golden Beach Beer City located in the West Coast New Area, more than 2,200 kinds of Chinese and foreign beer gather together, the sound of clinking glasses in the nine beer camps incessantly lingers on, and the star avenue is packed with people. More than 2,000 activities including music performances, art cruises and sports contests will be staged in succession to provide citizens and tourists with a wide range of recreational experience. In the Century Plaza Beer City in the Laoshan District, where rest areas are well-arranged and enthusiastic artistic performances are put on, citizens and tourists enjoy a happy get-together and drink beer and taste fine food in garden-style bars. Beyond the two venues, dining tables, on which fragrant  beer is served, are seen everywhere, people with varied emotions are consoled by drinking beer.
