The China Media Group (CMG) and a number of French media organizations held a ceremony in Paris on Tuesday to mark the launch of a joint production project.

A total of six co-production film and television projects were unveiled at the ceremony in the French capital.

Among those projects is a documentary based on the life of Jean Jerome Augustin Bussiere, a French doctor who spent almost 40 years in China during the last century.

The joint venture comes as China and France are set to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations next year.
Moreover, 2024 will also mark the year of culture and tourism between China and France, while the Paris Olympic Games will be also held in the summer.
