City Life | Recently, the original musical I Like You, created and produced by the Southern Song and Dance Troupe, began a new round of its national tour.

Following its successful performance at the Beijing Poly Theatre last year, the musical was once again selected for a touring project supported by the National Arts Fund. It will be staged at the Shunyi Grand Theatre in Beijing from August 29 to 30, bringing the distinctive Chaoshan intangible cultural heritage of Yingge Dance back to the capital’s stage.

So far, the production has toured nearly 30 theatres in more than 20 cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, sharing Chaoshan culture and Lingnan performing arts with audiences across the country.

近日，由南方歌舞团创作出品的原创音乐剧《喜欢你》开启全国新一轮巡演。该剧继去年在北京保利剧院成功演出后，再度入选国家艺术基金资助巡演项目，于今年8月29日至30日登陆北京顺义大剧院，让独具特色的潮汕非遗再度绽放京城舞台。截至目前，该剧巡演足迹已遍及北京、上海、深圳等全国20座多城市近30家剧院，持续推动潮汕文化、岭南文艺走出本土、走向全国。
