A Forest Chorus: Rare Kurixalus odontotarsusPopulation Confirmed in Heyuan
Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | Researchers at Heyuan Xingang Provincial Nature Reserve recently discovered an active frog habitat during a routine patrol. The group of around 60 to 70 tiny forest dwellers was identified as Kurixalus odontotarsus, a protected species recognized for its ecological and scientific importance in China. This is the first time the reserve has captured clear footage of the species and confirmed its population scale, offering new evidence of the improving biodiversity and ecological health of Heyuan.#SplendidLingnan
