The "Cantonese Cuisine Masters" Competition in Wanqingsha Town, Nansha, Guangzhou Concludes

City Life | Recently, the first-quarter 2026 “Cantonese Cuisine Masters” competition was held at the outdoor plaza of the Wanqingsha Reclamation History Exhibition Hall in Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou. After fierce competition, Danjiamei Danjia Restaurant stood out among ten participating teams with two dishes that combine Danjia-style flavors with health-conscious cooking, winning first prize.

The event served as a platform for exchange among Cantonese chefs through skill-based contests, supporting the adoption of the Healthy China Initiative and the "Three Reductions and Three Healthy Conditions" Program (reducing salt, oil, and sugar while promoting oral health, healthy weight, and bone health) in culinary practice. Using food as a bridge, the event also aimed to enhance the value of local agricultural products, deepen the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism, and bring new momentum to rural revitalization. #citylife

近日，2026年万顷沙镇第一季度“粤菜师傅”竞技比赛在万顷沙围垦历史陈列馆圩镇客厅外部广场决出胜负。经过激烈角逐，疍家妹疍家菜馆凭借两道融合疍家风味与健康理念的菜品，从10支参赛队伍中脱颖而出，荣获一等奖。活动旨在通过技能比拼，搭建粤菜师傅的交流平台，推动“健康中国行动”与“三减三健”（减盐、减油、减糖，健康口腔、健康体重、健康骨骼）理念在餐饮实践中的落地；同时以美食为媒，推动本土农产品增值和农文旅产业深度融合，为乡村振兴注入新动力。
