Kapok Blooms in March as Guangzhou Unveils "Flowers & City" Tourism Season

City Life | On March 24, a unique event integrating culture, commerce and tourism was held at the LN·Lifestyle of Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. Centered on the iconic red kapok blossom of Lingnan, the event brought together sectors including tourism, accommodation, dining, retail, conferences and cultural performances. Through five themed sections—kapok-inspired cuisine, hotels, travel routes, cultural activities and creative products—a one-stop consumption chain was created, allowing residents and visitors to fully experience the beauty of spring in Guangzhou, the Flower City. Guests from various sectors gathered to witness the deep integration of Lingnan culture with emerging consumption scenarios.
