Guangdong Delegation Open Day showcases professional and heartwarming service

To welcome the 277 journalists from 111 domestic and foreign media outlets, the Guangdong Delegation Open Day demonstrated the professionalism and sincerity of both an economic powerhouse and a service industry leader through meticulous and thoughtful arrangements, including providing media bags, simultaneous interpretation services, and handbooks for the "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" initiative.

At the Capital Hotel Beijing, where the event was held, journalists were impressed by a thoughtful touch: everyone received a "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" media bag containing fragrant Fenghuang Dancong tea, Yingde black tea, and Zijin cicada tea, alongside the Guangzhou Restaurant lychee pastries and Hsu fu chi crispy candies.

To better accommodate both domestic and foreign journalists, simultaneous interpretation was also provided during the Q&A session. Tanya Gluhcheva from Bulgaria's Duma told the journalist from Yangcheng Evening News that she has covered China's two sessions for four consecutive years, but this was the first time she had attended the Guangdong Delegation Open Day. She said she had truly felt Guangdong's hospitality. Deeply interested in this year's highly anticipated"AI Top Eight," she added that Guangdong's cutting-edge technologies had shown her how technology can make life better.

Why is Guangdong able to stage such a smooth and thoughtful open day?

This is because service has long been embedded in Guangdong's DNA. In 2025, the value added of Guangdong's services sector reached 8.5 trillion yuan, ranking first in the country for the 41st consecutive year and accounting for nearly 60% of the province's GDP.

From accessing government services at one's fingertips through the Yuesheng shiplatform to instant approval in government services; from the gathering of global merchants at the China Import and Export Fair to the continuous improvement of the business environment, Guangdong has treated businesses as partners and talent as its most valued resource with this spirit of service, helping sustain its position as China's top province in GDP for 37 consecutive years.

会场内外细节满满 “粤式服务”专业暖心

一个包、一场同声传译、一本《百万英才汇南粤》手册……面对111家中外媒体277名记者的“长枪短炮”，广东省代表团开放团组活动用一套细致周到的安排，展现了经济大省、服务业大省的专业与诚意。

在广东省代表团驻地，记者们被一个细节“暖到了”：人手一份的“广货行天下”媒体服务包里，有香气四溢的凤凰单丛、英德红茶、紫金蝉茶，还有广州酒家荔枝酥、徐福记酥心糖……

面对中外记者，在提问环节更安排了同声传译服务。保加利亚《言论报》记者塔尼亚·格卢赫切娃对羊城晚报记者说，她连续四年来中国报道两会，这是第一次来到广东省代表团开放日活动，感受到了广东服务的热情，她对今年很火的“AI八骏”很感兴趣，直言感受到了广东“黑科技”给生活带来的美好。

为什么广东能把一个开放日办得如此妥帖？

因为服务，早已刻进了广东的发展基因。2025年，广东服务业增加值达8.5万亿元，连续41年位居全国第一，占GDP比重近六成。

从“粤省事”指尖通办，到政务服务“秒批”；从广交会的万商云集，到营商环境的持续优化。广东正是凭着这股“服务精神”，把企业当“自己人”，把人才当“心上人”，才换来了连续37年GDP全国第一的辉煌。
