China Premiere: Charles Dutoit Leads Shanghai Symphony Orchestra in Concert Version of the Opera "Wozzeck"

Art and Culture | On October 11, renowned conductor Charles Dutoit will lead the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with vocalists Robin Adams, Magdalena Anna Hofmann, Michael Schade, and the Shanghai Youth Choir, to present the Chinese premiere of the concert version of Alban Berg’s three-act opera Wozzeck. This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the opera’s premiere. Wozzeck is a representative work reflecting the influence of 20th century Expressionism on culture and arts, and has been selected as one of the "20th Century’s Most Influential Operas." #artandculture

10月11日，指挥大师迪图瓦指挥上海交响乐团，合作歌唱家罗宾·亚当斯、玛格达莱娜·安娜·霍夫曼、米夏埃尔·沙德以及上海青年合唱团，中国首演贝尔格三幕歌剧《沃采克》的音乐会版，今年也是这部作品公演的100周年。《沃采克》反映二十世纪表现主义思潮对文化艺术影响的代表之作，被评选为“有史以来最伟大的二十部歌剧”之一。
