Whispers of Ancient Tree

In early spring, the century-old ancient “Kapok King” at Guangzhou's Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall bursts into red bloom. As summer approaches, snow-white blossoms cascade from a millennia-old vine near the He Xiangu's Ancestral Temple in Zengcheng. When autumn deepens, the ancient ginkgo trees of Nanxiong, Shaoguan, transform into golden splendour. With winter's arrival, Jiangmen's century-old banyan tree spreads its vast canopy like a cloud over the Birds' Paradise. Across Guangdong's 21 cities, over 85,000 ancient trees stand as unique landscapes, each radiating vibrant vitality.

阳春三月，广州市中山纪念堂的百年“木棉王”红花盛放；初夏时节，广州市增城区何仙姑家庙旁千年古藤缀满雪白花穗；深秋时节，韶关市南雄古银杏群换上“金装”；初冬时节，江门市小鸟天堂百年古榕冠如云……广东全省21地市超8.5万株古树，一树一景，处处生机。
