A breathtaking landscape of hawthorn flowers in Shaoguan!

Many have seen hawthorn fruits, but only a few have witnessed their flowers. Now is the season when the flowers are in full bloom in northern Guangdong.

More than 300 acres of hawthorn flowers have been planted in Yifu Farm, Chengnan Town, Shixing County, Shaoguan City. They are now in full bloom.

Standing on the top of a mountain, one can gaze upon the breathtaking view of the mountainside covered with hawthorn flowers, resembling a blanket of snow or a cluster of white clouds that gently sway in the breeze. The refreshing scent of the flowers comes with the gust of the mountain wind, giving rise to a tranquil atmosphere.

With its clusters of downward-facing petals and delicate yellow stamens that adorn the center, the hawthorn flower is always considered unique and eye-soothing to anthophiles. The flower turns even more charming while busy bees collect its nectar.

These hawthorn trees have been planted for seven years and continue to bloom every year in early February, attracting many visitors who come to marvel at the floral beauty.

很多人见过山楂果，却很少见过山楂花。眼下正值粤北地区花开烂漫的时节，韶关市始兴县城南镇溢富农场种植的300多亩山楂花正竞相绽放，芳香弥漫，满园春色。站在山顶远远看去，漫山遍野的山楂花如飘雪，又如一片片白云缭绕山间，沁人肺腑的花香随着阵阵山风扑鼻而来。

山楂花很特别，花朵是朝下开放，由十几朵甚至几十朵花组成一簇，黄色花蕊点缀中间，分外可爱，不时有蜜蜂在花丛中飞舞，忙着采花蜜。这片山楂树已经种植了七年，每年的二月初开花，吸引很多人过来赏花。
