Baiyun Mountain abuzz with tourists for days

NewYearinLingnan Recently, many in Guangzhou climbed Baiyun Mountain to enjoy a distant view of the beautiful vista of the Spring Festival holiday. Early in the morning, a large crowd of visitors gathered in YunTai Garden at the foot of Baiyun Mountain; they queued up at the entrance of Baiyun Cableway to ascend a height and view superb blossoms there.  

Mr. Huang drove from Jiangmen to"hang around" in Guangzhou. Earlier, his six-member family had reached YunTai Garden. They all lined up to take the cableway mountaineering. Huang said that the last time he came to Guangzhou was on a business trip two years ago, but then he almost had no opportunity to enjoy the beautiful city. This time, he was on a special family tour here. It was also the first time he accompanied his children to Guangzhou for fun. Apart from climbing Baiyun Mountain, they also roamed around Beijing Road and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, took a Pearl River cruise, and climbed Guangzhou Tower.

"Guangzhou is a city of inclusiveness and human kindness. The environment here is also getting better and better. I hope the economy too will do better in 2023,"said Huang.

近日，广州市民趁着新春假期登高望远。记者在白云山云台花园白云索道看到，这里一大早就聚集了大量来赏花登高的游客，售票处和索道入口都纷纷排起了长龙。

来自江门的黄先生，从江门驱车来广州“闲逛”。一家六口早早就来到了白云山云台花园排队乘索道登山。

黄先生说，上次来广州还是两年前出差，没能好好在广州游玩。这次专程开车带家人来，也是第一次带孩子来广州玩。除了登白云山，还逛了北京路、上下九步行街，坐了珠江游船，登广州塔。“广州很包容，很有人情味，环境也越来越好了。希望2023年经济能有更好的发展。”黄先生说道。
