Spring breezes are refreshing the ground with an abundance of exuberant colors as new leaves are budding, branches swaying, and flower petals unfurling, immersing massive visitors in intoxicating vista with sense of exhilaration.
The 22nd city forest flower exhibition unveiled in Shanghai on Sunday, attracting many visitors to enjoy vibrant colors and fragrant scents of blooming flowers.
"There are ubiquitous flowers hither and thither, and the air is beaming with the tinges of spring ," said a visitor.
This year's flower show, themed "Enjoying Spring Flowers and Embracing a Beautiful Life", features four major exhibition areas and a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy.
"This year our flower exhibition will last until May 6. During the period, peach blossoms, begonia, cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, azaleas and other flowers will be in full bloom," said Zhu Jingwen, a staff of Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park.
In Jiangjin District, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, a vast expanse of flowers, including rhododendron, is in full bloom on nearly 1,333-hectare terraced fields. Various flowers with various color turned the land into a colorful and beautiful painting.
More than 16,000 hectares of pear flowers in Zhaoxian County of Shijiazhuang City, north China's Hebei Province, have entered their full blossom period. Many tourists have flocked to the site to indulge themselves in the white flower sea regularly portrayed in traditional Chinese poems.
Viewed from the sky, the pear blossoms are like spring snow spread to the world. Walking among the pear trees, one can feel the elegant fragrance of the flowers with a relaxation and pleasure both physically and mentally.
