A Chinese art exhibition titled "From Beijing to Paris, the Olympic Journey of Chinese Artists" has graced the halls of Shanghai International Media Port in east China's Shanghai on Sunday, adding luster to the cultural exchanges between China and France and glorifying the Olympic spirit.

Co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG), Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition serves as a follow-up event of "From Beijing to Paris - Chinese and French Artists' Olympic Journey" art exhibition, which received enthusiastic responses and was just concluded in Paris on May 17.
With two main sections -- "Encounter with the Olympics" and "A Journey with Art," the art exhibition showcases a total of 68 art pieces from 62 renowned Chinese artists, as well as 11 precious artifacts from the Shanghai Sports Museum's collection.
It also highlights the inseparable bond between Shanghai and the Olympics and emphasizes the connections and similarities between sport and the arts.
Additionally, a special exhibition area that features exchanged letters between the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and CMG, was built up, showing the successful collaboration between the two parties, CMG's active dissemination of Olympic culture and the strong support and high appreciation from the IOC towards the CMG.
