As temperatures plunged in the Greater Khingan Range in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Ganhe National Park has transformed into a breathtaking winter landscape.

Along the banks of a gently flowing river, yet unfrozen despite the cold, footage stunning scenes as water vapor rose and crystalized in the frigid air, dressing the trees in a stunning white coat. This natural phenomenon has created a picturesque corridor reminiscent of a fairyland.

Thanks to abundant geothermal activity in the area, the river remains ice-free even in the harshest winter conditions. Early mornings present a mesmerizing scene where the mist shrouds the river surface, contrasting beautifully with the rime ice adoring the banks.
