Recently released footage from Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province shows a group of panda newborns practicing their first crawls across a patch of grass, brimming with curiosity.
Born earlier this year, the tiny cubs are still new to the world, yet they are already eager to wiggle, wander, and explore their surroundings.
The clips were captured in the Star Delivery House for Giant Pandas at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a world-renowned institution for the conservation of giant pandas. The base is famous for its work in protecting and breeding giant pandas, red pandas and other endangered wild animal species exclusive to China as well as its role as an educational and tourism base.
