A special session for food machinery in the 2025 “Sailing Out, Trading Worldwide” targeted purchasing matchmaking event was recently held in the SCO Demonstration Area. More than 70 businessmen from five countries, including Russia and Kazakhstan, communicated in a targeted way with over 150 companies from Qingdao and other cities, and reached an intended transaction value of about RMB21 mln.

In the trade fair, dialogues in different languages such as Russian, English and Chinese rose and fell in intervals. Daniel, a buyer from Kazakhstan, had a clear goal. That was to choose fruit and vegetable juice extractor suppliers. Daniel told us that Chinese-made food machinery and equipment are superior in quality and competitive in prices, and he has found a few prospective partners in his “Qingdao tour” with a hope to establish long-term cooperation.
