Snow-clad mountains have created magnificent winter views in Chinese provinces of Shanxi and Henan as the two regions welcomed their first snowfall in this winter from Sunday to Monday.
Changzhi City of Shanxi in north China embraced its first snowfall in this winter on Sunday evening.
On Monday morning, the Taihang Mountains in Changzhi were blanketed in pristine white snow, transforming the landscape into a winter wonderland.
At the Yongzuo Temple in Taiyuan, Shanxi, a layer of white snow delicately blanketed the twin pagodas on Monday morning, accentuating their majestic and graceful presence. These ancient pagodas, built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), has a history spanning over 400 years.
Heavy snow also swept through central China's Henan Province on Sunday night.
In Luanchuan County of Luoyang City, the snow-capped mountains and awe-inspiring spectacle created by the sea of clouds have transformed the Laojun Mountain scenic spot into a magnificent wonderland.
