[Meizhou Daily News]On August 15, under the guidance of the Meijiang District Party Committee’s Leading Group Office for Talent Work, the Meijiang District Party Committee and the Meijiang District Rural Vitalization Talent Station jointly held a summer study trip and exchange event for college students, attracting the participation of more than 70 returning college students nationwide.
College students visited in succession the Zhu Yunqing Deeds Showroom, the Meizhou City Exhibition Hall and the Meizhou Youth Entrepreneurs Association to further see never-ending changes and improvements in Meizhou and the promising industry vitalization driven by scientific and technological innovation, thereby giving them more motivation to return to their hometown to seek jobs.
In the event, the working staff explained to college students Meizhou 16-point policies on talent vitalization and the Qingmei Program, and showed them promotional videos on Meijiang District and talent work. Representatives of youth professionals from the Greater Bay Area and returning college students told their stories of entrepreneurship or job-seeking in their hometown, their experience of learning in other places as well as their dreams and plans. The related responsible person for the Meijiang District League Committee answered questions posed by college students on employment and entrepreneurship.
The Meijiang District Party Committee will launch college students job fairs and “hometown-returning” summer practice activities to enable youths in other places to better know about their hometown and become more motivated to return to build their hometown, thus gathering more youths to contribute to the high-quality development campaign in Meijiang District.
