QINGDAO -- Vibrant spring blossoms are drawing visitors to Qingdao's countryside and boosting local tourism.
At a local plum garden in Qingdao, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province, more than 200 varieties of plum blossoms, with over 20,000 trees, have recently reached their peak bloom, about 10 days earlier than in previous years due to above-average temperatures.
Among the delicate flowers, a market offering a rich array of Chinese intangible cultural heritage and local delicacies has been drawing large crowds to the garden every day.
Varieties of cherry blossoms are set to bloom successively this season, offering breathtaking sights for photographers from across the country.
