This June, Qingdao is integrating a wide range of cultural and tourism resources — including performing arts, folk festivals, museum exhibitions, and sports events — to launch 148 special activities, offering residents and visitors diverse experiences, practical discounts, and high-quality services, all aimed at further energizing the summer tourism market.

Olympic table tennis champion Chen Meng has been appointed as tourism ambassador for Qingdao.

The SCO demonstration zone in Qingdao will launch the "SCO Summer" series, running through August. Across the city, activities will include intangible cultural heritage displays, Dragon Boat Festival markets, and folk experiences. For the graduation season, Qingdao will organize youth-oriented events such as film festivals, art exhibitions, university galas, and startup competitions, aiming to attract young visitors.

Scenic spots like Laoshan Mountain are offering discounted tickets, while the city's metro lines and sea routes have launched special deals. Platforms such as Alipay, DiDi, and Douyin have also released travel and culture coupons.

With integrated benefits across attractions, hotels, restaurants, and transport, Qingdao is all set to energize its summer tourism market.
