A total of Qingdao food companies showcased their premium products at THAIFEX — Asia's leading food trade fair in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 26 to 30.

Spanning nearly 300 square meters, the Qingdao pavilion featured over 10 categories, including roasted nuts, chili products, frozen vegetables, beverages, and meat. The delegation received buyers from Thailand, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan, and Vietnam, securing intended orders exceeding 32 million yuan ($4.73 million).

Notably, a nut and dried fruit exporter reached deals with METRO from Germany, and Thailand's Makro. A frozen meat company, certified organic and traceable, attracted over 100 buyers including CPF and Cargill. A chili sauce producer engaged more than 200 distributors and secured a spot for the 2027 edition of THAIFEX.
