In flourishing spring days, Qingdao is increasingly immersed in the fragrance of flowers. Great throngs of citizens have a spring outing to enjoy beautiful flowers.

In Qingdao, plum blossoms, cherry flowers, azaleas, magnolias and cherry blossoms seem to narrate the secret of nature by blooming step by step, and plants whose leaves begin to unfold prior to blossoming, including begonias, Chinese wistaria and peonies, will make a striking appearance as the temperature keeps on rising.

Southern magnolias, white magnolias, purple magnolias and saucer magnolias, which can be found everywhere in many historical and cultural blocks such as Baguan Mountain, Guanhai Mountain, Huangtai Road and Xinhao Mountain, come into full bloom one after another. White magnolias growing on Jinkou First Road, which have become an online sensation, have entered their prime time for observation. Against the backdrop of blue skies, pure white petals, which resemble both clouds and snow, contrast finely with Xiaoyu Mountain and Huiquan Bay in the distance. A stunning spring spectacle, in which mountains, the sea and flowers set off each other beautifully, seem to unfold in slow motion.

The Qingdao Dazhu Mountain azaleas fair, which has seen the 21st anniversary, was held as scheduled. Admiring the beauty of flowers, which used to feature in the fair, is now upgraded to first-hand vacationing experience. The fourth Qingdao cherry blossom festival was inaugurated via online channels. A profusion of flowers growing all over the mountains and plains are so thriving that a great many citizens go to Beizhai in Laoshan District for sightseeing.
