A bustling scene of production is staged in the general aviation industry park in Dianbu Town, Laixi, where more than 200 staff members are busy working in an orderly way across all production lines of Wanfeng DA50 aircraft.

“Our capacity has fully restored to the pre-holiday level. As the orders in hand involve nearly 100 pieces, production scheduling has been made for the first half of 2026.” According to Fu Yuquan, director of General Manager’s Office in Wanfeng Group, the bulk of these orders are from Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and clients primarily consist of flight training schools, airlines, aeroclubs and private consumers.

To date, DA50 aircraft can be mass-produced in Austria, Canada and Qingdao.

Manufacturers of aviation-related complete machines and core parts such as AIFC have flocked together to have proximity to Wanfeng, thus creating a complete industrial chain spanning from R&D and design, critical materials, precision manufacturing to flight testing and operation services.
