Either a train ticket or an air ticket, which is valid for seven days, is becoming an exceptionally useful permit for tourists from home and abroad to travel in Qingdao.

An alliance of merchants recently launched a campaign to help bolster Qingdao’s 2025-2026 ticket-coupon economy. Passengers who arrive in Qingdao by train or air by February 28, 2026 can be entitled to nearly 700 promotional activities launched by more than 400 merchants across the city by merely presenting his or her own ticket coupon (the date on which should not be more than seven days ago).

In a bid to enable tourists to enjoy their heart’s content their trips in Qingdao, including scenic spots, museums, hotels, restaurants and cinemas, the event has specially launched the following four tour packages. The urban landscape tour, which features stunning mountain and sea views, is launched for first-timers and enables them to see all classic views in Qingdao. The interesting winter exploration tour, which highlights parent-child amusement, is designed for families and integrates animal knowledge education, experiencing the nature and parent-child interactions. The culture-seeking tour can cater to the needs of cultural and history enthusiasts, and is designed to dig into Qingdao’s industrial relics, architectural heritage and artistic collection.
