In early winter, Qingdao's cultural and tourism sector is vibrant with renewed energy, thanks to fresh formats, scenes, and models. By integrating marine, museum, and study tour resources, the city is breaking seasonal limits and boosting tourism consumption.
Recently, the "Ocean voyage traversing the bay bridge in Qingdao" cruise line set a record with 3,155 daily passengers. Launched in late October, the route combines bay views, ocean science, and shuttle services to the Qingdao Science Museum. Starting in December, seven discounted marine tours will be offered, including island-hopping and seagull-watching.
As a signature icon of Qingdao, beer culture experiences have maintained strong popularity in this winter's tourism sector at the Tsingtao Beer Museum, attracting 4,000 to 5,000 visitors daily with immersive experiences.
Meanwhile, study tours are thriving at Qingdao Polar Ocean Park, where experts from the Ocean University of China lead interactive sessions for students.
These innovations, promoted under the Winter Charm of Qingdao campaign, highlight the city's strategy to drive tourism growth year-round through diversified integration.
