The banks of Zhangcun River, located in Qingdao's Laoshan district, in early winter resemble a flowing oil painting. Golden ginkgo trees and verdant pines create layered vistas, while residents enjoy the fresh air along winding paths.
A four-kilometer section of the Zhangcun River ecological restoration project in Laoshan has become a gem for leisure activities, transforming this waterway into a vibrant landscape where picturesque views become part of daily life.

The ecological park displays meticulously designed natural scenery. Former vertical banks have been replaced by gentle slopes, and straight channels converted into meandering wetland beds. Ecological islands, subsidiary channels, and vegetation buffer zones form a complete purification system.
This revitalized environment has become a thriving sanctuary for waterbirds such as egrets and coots, which now dwell and flourish here in peace. The area has transformed into a vibrant haven of biodiversity.

Zhangcun River's transformation epitomizes the area's urban renewal. Laoshan district has achieved quality living standards through ecological restoration, creating a harmonious urban landscape.
