Another film and television cultural tourism project will emerge soon in Qingdao.  Shinan District in cooperation with Golden Resources, a Chinese cultural and tourism investment and operation platform across the industrial chain, are developing the “Qingdao Shier Li” (Twelve Qingdao Liyuan Buildings) film and television cultural tourism block. Experience-based business formats characterized by Qingdao’s indigenous culture, and film and TV elements, including immersive Liyuan theaters, performing arts complex, collection shops of famous brands, and literature-themed hotels, will be mainly launched in the neighborhood of Huangdao Road in an effort to build a film and television elements-themed block.

Huangdao Road is known as a century-old street in Qingdao and dotted on the two sides with ten-odd Liyuan buildings such as Ruifuli, Dexingli, Ankangli and Huaqiaoli, where Qingdao Liyuan buildings-related culture was created and the Qingdao Comedy Festival takes place. Upholding the philosophy of building “a performing place around the clock”, the twelve Liyuan buildings in the project will have different spatial themes, and provide consumption experience at varied levels so that tourists can have unique intensive experience in each building with the aid of electronic guides, courtyard travel tips and NPC boxes.  (Cao Sen)
