The eastern corridor of the China-Europe Railway Express network has registered over 27 million tons of imported volume, with a total of 2,669 inbound trains operated as of Saturday.

Freight types mainly include iron ore powder, fertilizers, sheet materials, cosmetics, auto parts, and others.

The China-Europe Freight Train service has three main corridors -- the western corridor, the eastern corridor and the middle corridor.

The eastern corridor, encompassing the rail ports of Manzhouli in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang of Heilongjiang Province in northeast China, has expanded to 27 operational routes.
