Three major food events — the 26th China Food Festival, the 3rd China Ocean Food Culture Festival, and the 2025 Ethnic Food Culture Festival — took place in Qingdao from Sept 12 to 14, bringing together industry professionals, locals, and tourists for a grand culinary celebration.

Approved as key national campaigns to boost consumption, these festivals are among the consumption promotion events organized by the Ministry of Commerce. Together, they created a systematic, widely inclusive, and memorable dining extravaganza.

The festivals featured nine sections, including opening and closing ceremonies, food exhibitions, and supply chain displays. With 386 exhibitors — over 260 leading supply chain companies — and 450 brands, more than 1,000 ingredient and equipment products are showcased, including over 200 new and popular items. Nearly 20,000 professional visitors participated.
