The 2025 Qingdao Craftspersons’ Day activities kicked off on July 25. Themed “Enhancing the Awareness of Craftsmanship, Building Better Brands”, the activities comprise “craftspeople award presentation”, “inheritance of craftsmanship”, “enabling role of craftsmanship”, “discussion of craftsmanship” and “craftsmanship shaping the future” to pay tribute to knowledge, skill and innovation-oriented craftspeople on behalf of the city.

During the activities, the 2025 Qingdao craftspersons, Qingdao handcraft masters and results in “five-pronged” employee innovation and creation have been unveiled. To give further publicity to commitment to craftsmanship across the city, a number of craftspersons were selected to give lectures. Model workers and craftspersons were organized to visit enterprises to provide technical services, promote the spirit of craftsmanship, offer training, and help tackle key problems. To highlight craftspersons’ status, carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship and unlock the value of craftspersons, outstanding craftspeople were invited to have face-to-face talks with experts and scholars to work out suggestions and proposals on ways to make breakthroughs in key sectors.  (Liu Ping)
