In the summer of 2025, Qingdao is poised to launch four featured events, including “Come to Qingdao, Toast the World”. More than 2,300 cultural tourism activities aimed at boosting consumption as well as favorable measures will help Qingdao to deliver impeccable experience to tourists from home and abroad.

Among these activities, the 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival will be undoubtedly a big hit, and concurrently held in the West Coast New Area, Laoshan District and the old urban area of Qingdao. In the festival, art parades, an electronic music festival, street performances and bustling fairs will be launched, and Qingdao will collaborate with Ant Group to build China’s first international city convenient and friendly to tourist consumption. An ocean beer carnival will be staged in the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, where many summer tourist routes, including “Chasing After Sea Gulls and Waves”, are launched to see Qingdao from the sea. Art, exhibition and performance activities will be also appealing. Ten concerts and 60 themed exhibition and performance events will be unveiled in succession. The “Summer of Qingdao” artistic lantern show, the largest such summer show in northern China, will be held. Meanwhile, Qingdao will introduce a slew of favorable measures, which cover all consumption scenarios ranging from catering, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping to entertainment, to deliver unrivalled consumption experience to tourists.  (Ma Xiaoting)
