With an emphasis on “10+1” industrial orientations, Qingdao will prioritize the two forerunner industries that include new-generation information technology, and artificial intelligence, strive to make breakthroughs in five emerging sectors, namely, life and health, intelligent internet connected new energy vehicle, low-altitude economy, green energy and intelligent equipment, seek higher-quality development of intelligent household appliances, high-end chemical engineering and new materials, and modern light industry, and take an pre-emptive approach to develop a number of future-oriented industries.

With a focus on niche tracks in advancing the “10+1” industrial development program, Qingdao will follow the principle of sector-based promotion, adjustment in accordance with evolving dynamics and cultivation in a tiered manner to prioritize with utmost efforts the development of such 10 niche tracks as new-type display technology, and marine sector to seek breakthroughs. In regard to 20 niche tracks such as magnetic storage chips, advanced packaging, humanoid robots, gene and cell diagnosis and treatment, and medical apparatus for rehabilitation, Qingdao will unremitting work hard to expand the size and seek high-quality development. As for large vertical models, and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, Qingdao will move with the times and work hard to get a head start.
