Leveraging the SCO Demonstration Area and the SCO Comprehensive Service Base for Science and Technology Innovation, the Shandong-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Cooperation Center, co-launched by Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks, the operator of the largest scientific research base in Hong Kong, and SCO Development (Holding) Group, is designed to facilitate the implementation of cooperation projects and matchmaking between competitive industries in the two places, and will strengthen exchanges and cooperation between innovation resources such as businesses, institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions to build a comprehensive inclusive platform for innovative development of science and technology-based enterprises in Shandong and Hong Kong. The cooperation will enable Shandong and Hong Kong to stretch their respective strengths to seek in-depth integrations across the innovation, industry and supply chains.
