Qingdao Today
Since the beginning of 2024, a rising number of passengers have chosen to arrive at or leave China by plane via Qingdao. On January 28, international passenger routes of Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport have seen two breakthroughs: the resumption of Qingdao-Nha Trang route and the increase in the frequency of Qingdao-Tokyo route.
After the Qingdao-Tokyo route sees an increased frequency, flights are available in the main hours of both morning and afternoon to cater to varied travel demand of businessmen and tourists. Currently, the number of flights from Qingdao to Tokyo has increased to nine per week, covering both Narita and Haneda. Passengers who fly to Tokyo from Qingdao can comfortably transfer for flights to top cities in Japan as well as several airports in Europe and North America. Run by VietJet Air, the Qingdao-Nha Trang route has been officially resumed to provide more travel options to passengers from Shandong Province.
In the Spring Festival holiday, popular international destinations for passengers arriving at or leaving China via Qingdao Jiaodong Airport will include Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia, and a daily average of more than 40 landings and take-offs of flights for Japan and South Korea.
