ASEAN-China Week 2025 concludes successfully

The ASEAN-China Week 2025, a cross-cultural dialogue, was held in Fuzhou from November 17 to 19.

The event witnessed both clashes of insightful ideas in high-level strategic dialogues and pragmatic cooperation between entrepreneurs, both discussions on new ways to bolster marine development in the ASEAN-China Youth Roundtable on Marine Cooperation and the operation of the cultural IP database that epitomizes inheritance in a digital way. The event has not only erected a bridge to communicate policies, but also facilitated people-to-people exchanges. It will help translate the grand idea of building a ASEAN-China community with a shared future into tangible results, and produce robust and far-reaching effects on ASEAN-China relationship in the future.

Hundreds of guests had avenues to express their opinions in the ASEAN-China Week 2025, and contributed their wisdom and strength to consolidating consensus on regional development, and mapping out a new landscape for cooperation.

Fuzhou has witnessed the formation of deep friendships across different cultures by hosting the first ASEAN-China Week in 2023, the ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges in 2024 and the latest ASEAN-China Week in 2025. When strategic dialogues and people-to-people exchanges are in alignment with each other, and inheritance of history and innovation complement each other, the ASEAN countries and China are bound to create a brighter future and write a new chapter through concerted efforts.  (Text by Qian Jiayi, Photo by Lin Shuangwei)
