Exports of finished vehicles via Fuzhou Jiangyin Port District tops 10,000 units this year

Exports of finished vehicles via Jiangyin Port District in Fuzhou for 2025 have exceeded 10,000 units, following the loading of 1950 units of China-made vehicles  that are destined for Mexico on October 26.

Since the beginning of this September, the Jiangyin Port District in Fuzhou has seen high-frequency loading operations of ro/ro vessels as well as ballooning exports of finished vehicles. The Fuzhou-Persian Gulf ro/ro route, and ro/ro routes directly leading to South Africa and Tanzania, which were opened successively, enable ro/ro ocean routes of Fuzhou Port to extend for the first time to the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, South Africa and Tanzania.

UP to this year, the Jiangyin Port District in Fuzhou has seen 12 voyages made by ro/ro vessels, which transported a total of 10,700 units of China-made vehicles to the Middle East, the southern part of Africa, and North and Central America. The figures undermine the pivotal role of the Jiangyin Port District in Fuzhou in promoting exports of vehicles in Chinese southeastern coastal areas, and show that Fuzhou Port, whose position as a economic and trade hub continues to improve, serves as an important window for Fujian Provinces efforts to develop export-outward economy and get deeply involved in international economic and trade cooperation.
