Qingdao Airport expands international air routes to be well-positioned for the imminent peak season 发布日期:2025/4/12 来源:International daily 打印

As China’s civil aviation is about to enter the summer and autumn flight season, Qingdao Airport will further expand air depots and routes, and optimize the layout of speedy routes, branch routes and international routes, with a planned total of 4,516 flights per week, equivalent to a daily average of 645 flights. Qingdao’s aviation network, which connects the south and the north, extends from the east to the west, and stretches across the world, continues to be upgraded.

As China extends the visa-free policy, inbound tourism continues to heat up. Since the beginning of this year, 100,000-plus foreign passengers have entered China via Qingdao Airport. Qingdao Airport constantly sees a large number of flights bound to Japan and South Korea on an average daily basis, and the steady operation of intercontinental routes to Dubai and London, and sustains its efforts to become connected with a rising number of cities across the globe.

To meet robust demand from economic and trade ties, and cultural tourism between China and Japan and South Korea, Qingdao Airport plans to operate a daily average of 53 flights destined to 10 core cities in the two countries, including Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Busan and Cheju in the imminent season, enjoying a leading position in terms of flight density among airports in northern China.  (Zhou Jianliang)
