The annual Qingdao International Beer Festival kicked off in the coastal city on July 19 and will last for 24 days until Aug 11. The big event has transformed Qingdao into a vibrant summer paradise.

Organized by the People's Government of Qingdao, the tagline for the festival this year is "Qingdao ganbei (toasts) with the world." It is one of the largest festivals in the country, combining tourism, culture, sports, economy and trade.

The Golden Beach Beer City features seven zones, including a beer pavilion, leisure food area, fashion trends area, and beer culture expo. The annual event not only stimulates Qingdao's summer night economy but also opens up new leisure and consumption opportunities for consumers.
