Queue up to take pictures with the popular landmark of a naive panda-shaped interactive device, gather around the stalls and try samples of “Sichuanese” specialty agro-products, get the chance to experience "BaBaTea"

CALIFORNIA, US. July 2nd, 2024 - 'Sichuanese' speciality agro-products are gaining popularity in Hong Kong as a result of a successful event.

The event, ‘See the Spectacular and Kaleidoscopic China’—Victoria Park Celebrate the Return of Hong Kong, opened in Victoria Park on June 29. Since opening, it has attracted thousands of visitors.

The exhibition, of Sichuan Provincial Supply and Marketing Co-operative, covers a total area of 700 square metres. With the theme of "Come to Sichuan, Live a Comfortable Life", it sets four major areas: “Sichuanese” specialty agro-products display area, the creative and interactive photoing area, the just-sit-and-relax area, and the tea-break area.

Attendees are able to immerse themselves in culture with a variety of experiences and food choices on offer. In the exhibition, more than 200 kinds of "Sichuanese" specialty agro-products are on display, attracting lots of Hong Kong citizens to try and buy. Numbing, spicy, savoury and aromatic, are just some of the Sichuan flavours that have captured a large number of fans!

With a selection of traditional furniture on display such as a bamboo table and chair and Gaiwan (covered bowl) tea set, attendees are able to feel like they are in the streets of Sichuan.

With folk music playing throughout, guests can fully experience the unique charm of “BaBaTea” culture and Sichuan’s comfortable and slow-paced lifestyle.

During the event, the Sichuan Provincial Supply and Marketing Co-operative is also working to expand global cooperation actively. Communicating with buyers, retailers and e-commerce platforms from all over the world, a series of cooperation intentions have been reached so far.
