The Qingdao Action Plan for Accelerating Scenario Construction to Drive High-quality Development was recently printed and issued, which proposes expediting the construction of scenarios in a systemic way across the city from six perspectives including industrial transformation, scientific and technological innovation, livelihood services, household consumption, urban resources and social governance.

According to the Action Plan, Qingdao will accelerate the construction of scenarios in fields related to intelligent internet connected vehicles, facilitate the construction of a batch of hydrogen refueling stations that integrate manufacturing, storage and fueling and pilot the application of “virtual power plant + energy storage projects”; boost the development of both emerging industries such as integrated circuits and virtual reality, and future industries including genes and cells to expedite the application of new-generation technology of artificial intelligence in urban cloud brains and other fields; and explore sharing of technologies and application scenarios as well as market-oriented operating mechanisms for super computing and maritime scientific expedition among other fields. In regard to people’s livelihoods, Qingdao will work hard to widen the application of such scenarios as “Only One Hospital in the City” and “ An Unified Citywide Fitness Program” to enable a growing number of citizens to benefit from the upgrade of scenarios.
