Fuzhou is building the new Minjiang River 

The Minjiang River is the "mother river" of Fuzhou, as well as an important corridor and ecological landscape belt of Fuzhou City. The Minjiang River and Wulong River are important rivers in Fujian and Fuzhou. For more than two thousand years, Fuzhou people have benefited from the nourishment of Minjiang River and Wulong River for generations. Now, with the goal of improving the environment of "Two Rivers and Four Banks", the hundred days plan of "Welcome the World Heritage Event and Build a Beautiful Minjiang River" is underway. This is also an important step in building a modern international city and promoting urban renewal.The river flows eastward glisteningly, bringing the landscape on both sides of the bank into a whole beautiful picture. The improvement of the environmental quality of the "Two Rivers and Four Banks" aims at creating a vital waterfront with beautiful hills, clear water and prosperous city.
